This product has a ring on it to attach the cable to and U had no Robles putting it in place in the ground. It did though take a little effort in removing the protective plastic /rubber piece on the end that goes in the ground. Hint: Use needle nose pliers to remove. They have the freedom to move around our campsite without the fear of them running off. We also use light weight nylon leads attached to this. This review verified by
