JAB. Jungian Acidus Blister by Paul McCaig & Luca Volpe.

$ 33.68

Description You remove a small quantity of the archetype billet cards from the envelope and give a brief outline as to who Carl Gustav Jung was and showing your audience the clearly printed images of the four quadrants and twelve archetype symbols, introduce a storyline loosely based around the premise that in Jungian psychology the archetypes represent universal patterns and images that are part of the collective unconscious. Jung believed that we inherit these archetypes much the way we inherit instinctive patterns of behavior. Ask the spectator to write their secret thought on the back of the card and once completed to fold the card in half and then in half again. Take the folded card from them and clearly show the front and back to the participant and audience to genuinely prove that there is no way of seeing the secret thought written inside. Ask the participant to verbally select one of the archetype symbols and give a quick reading on what that freely chosen symbol means according to Jungian Psychology. You now say that based on their subconscious choice of archetype, you can easily pick-up on their initial conscious thought. Put the envelope away and the with a bit theatrical by-play, either place your middle finger onto the participant’s closed fist, extended middle finger, or forehead and sharply retract it, as if you have received a sudden shock from a purge of energy, which you show has resulted in a blister in the shape of the archetype symbol that they were attracted to. At this point, when the participant is already shocked to see a blister of his chosen symbol appearing on your finger, you can immediately reveal their chosen word! The very robust Blister Gimmick is designed to last a lifetime, perfectly concealed, hidden in plain sight and easily transferrable. ‘Tracked/Signed’ post and packaging is £3.00 UK, £7.50 Europe and £9.00 ROW.
