This spotlight has 3 light settings, WHITE spotlight-2 rows LED, RED night vision-1 row, BLUE ultra violet-2 rows. At first I thought, oh come on, the blue were just blue & not uv or black light so I did the true test; I turned out all the lights, smiled in the mirror with the BLUE light on, & sure enough, my false front tooth turned black! So it is for real! I tried to take a picture with the lights on but it just wouldn’t take. The picture of the deer is at 1 a.m., complete darkness with the red light & white spotlight on. You can have each light color on separately or 2 together, or all 3 on at same time. There are many ways to attach it to almost anything & there is another attachment thing I haven’t figured out yet. No directions. I was able to mount it on my tripod which was great. It says water resistant, but there is a gap in the front where the light is so I put some clear silicone there to keep moisture out. It takes 6-AA BATTERIES, and there are 4 screws you have to remove to take off the back battery cover panel to install them. Could be maddening if out on boat at night and one of the screws gets dropped! I put a small magnet on the metal mounting bar to put each screw on so I’d not lose them. The light is quite bright & will be taking it out on the water as soon as boating season is again upon us.
