Product details The MQ7 Gas Sensor Module is a high-sensitivity semiconductor sensor developed for accurate detection of carbon monoxide (CO) gas. The sensing element contains a tin dioxide (SnO₂) sensitive layer whose resistance varies with exposure to CO. This change is processed to produce a proportional analog voltage and an optional digital trigger signal using an onboard LM393 comparator. Operating from a 5V power supply, the module integrates a built-in heating element that allows cyclic heating for high CO selectivity.
